Privacy policy

Last updated 23 September 2026. This covers the Valkyrie Society website. It does not cover anything you fill in on paper at the gym.

What we collect

If you submit the enquiry form on this site, we receive the name, phone number and email address you type, and which class you chose. We do not ask for a date of birth, an address or a payment detail anywhere on this website.

The form also passes along any advertising parameters that were in the link you arrived on, for example a campaign identifier from a Facebook or Google ad. That tells us which advertisement brought you here. It does not identify you.

The answer to "when would you like to come in" is used on the page only and is discarded before your enquiry is sent anywhere.

Why we collect it

So that someone at Valkyrie Society can contact you to arrange the session you asked for, and so we know which of our advertisements is worth running. We do not sell your details, we do not trade them, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

Where it goes

Enquiries are forwarded to the customer management system Valkyrie Society uses to run the gym. That system is operated by a third party on our behalf and stores the details you submitted. Class bookings made on this site are handled by the same system.

This website is hosted by Vercel, which records standard server logs. Web fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means Google sees the request your browser makes for them.

Cookies and storage

We do not set advertising cookies on this site. The site keeps the advertising parameters described above in your browser's session storage so that they survive a click from one page to the next, and your browser clears that when you close the tab.

Young athletes

Enquiries for anyone under 18 should be submitted by a parent or guardian, using the adult's contact details. We do not knowingly collect a child's contact details through this website.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as they are useful to the gym. If you ask us to delete yours, we will.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email valkyriesocietydsm@gmail.com or call (641) 590-0966 and we will deal with it.
